January 2026 Update
Happy New Year! Last year was quite a fruitful one when it came to publishing books. Both parts of In Too Deep released, along with Caught in the Act, Never Too Late to Play, and most of While We Were Apart (only the first arc has been published) were written and posted on Patreon/Ream. I have high hopes that the new year will actually top some of those fan favorites!
But I don’t want to bury the lead too much here. The reason this January post is coming out in the second week of January is because I was waiting to announce some big news. Now I have it:
I’m back on Patreon

This is a brand new page with a different URL from the last one: https://www.patreon.com/cw/kennywrightauthor
If you were a patron before, you’ll need to resubscribe. But there are a few changes as I want to stay well within what’s permitted by the Patreon Community Guidelines. This mostly means not publishing hyper-realistic AI images that push into the R-rated territory. There will still be character renderings to help you visualize what I’m seeing, but to be safe, the characters will remain clothed.
The other big change with Patreon this time around are the tiers. There will be three tiers now: Silver, Gold, and Platinum.
Silver will have access the most recent story (currently Stewarding Sofía). Gold will have access to illustrated versions of those stories (taking a page from Kirsten McCurran’s Patreon and her “going deeper” versions). The illustrated versions will have one to three renderings from the story itself, in addition to the title tile. Like Silver, though, Gold will only have access to the current work in progress. Finally, Platinum has full access to everything (including a Platinum Channel on Discord).
All levels will have access to the entirety of the first vignette of While We Were Apart, along with the KW Shorts (a few random short stories that I’ve written over the years).
Oh, and Ream is not going anywhere. I’m still going to maintain Ream. Patreon is NOT getting any exclusive content. Ream and Patreon will always have the same stuff. If you prefer Ream, stay there. If you prefer Patreon’s UI, hop on over.
Finally, I encourage you all to sign up as a free member to Patreon, if you’re comfortable with it. At the very least, you’ll receive my newsletter (this thing you’re reading now) that’ll come out monthly and let you know what I’m up to.
Discussions on Discord
Now that I’m on two different subscription sites, discussions may get a little fragmented. Don’t worry, I still read any and all comments you post wherever you’re posting it (well, maybe not on social media so much these days). But to consolidate actual discussion, please join my Discord server. It’s free (you don’t have to be a subscriber of any of these sites). I’ve got individual channels for my stories there, plus other lively community chatter.

Stewarding Sofia

This is the current story that’s being published on both Ream and Patreon. It’s a novella, so only about five or six chapters long. As such, it moves at a much quicker rate than my previous several books, which were much more of a slow burn. There’s plenty of burn, but not much slow.
Here’s the blurb:
Flying to the Virgin Islands in First Class was amazing for Joe. Watching his sexy wife, Sophia, work as a flight attendant was even better. He’d always fantasized about the men who flirted with her while she worked. Now he got to watch it live.
When Hector, a frequent flyer, takes a seat next to him, Joe is surprised to find that this man knows Sophia. Can Joe resist digging for more?
While We Were Apart: Hotwife

The sixth “vignette” in the While We Were Apart series just wrapped up at the end of last year. I put quotation marks around vignette because this installment is about as long as the first three combined. As it should be, since this was the culmination of all the stories before it (if you hadn’t guessed, based on the name).
If you haven’t read all of those previous books, you can check the first three in a bundled book (the Early Years), available anywhere you can buy books. The next two vignettes, entitled Bachelorettes and The Wedding, is available on both Ream and Patreon. I’ll be publishing these two together early this year, followed at some point by Hotwife, although these stories were largely written for the Patreon and Ream audiences.
And yes, there will be more of Morgan and Nathan. I already have an idea on what I want to do with the next book, but I’m not ready to share those plans just yet.
Other things to look forward to in 2026
I hesitate to look at what I said at the beginning of 2025… only I don’t need to hesitate, since that post is gone! But I do think that I had aspirations to publish some of these things in 2025.
Claire.ai

This is a story about the founder of a tech company working on creating AI assistants. He uses his own technology to create an AI version of his wife, and by doing so, he discovers some interesting things about his real wife. Or so he thinks.
I’ve written three chapters of this story, which was once just a concept a year ago, and have a pretty good idea of the story I want to tell with it now. Some of you think it’s my version of a scifi story, but I wouldn’t go that far. It should be fun, though.
The Sugar Club (formerly the Uncles)

This one’s a collaboration with Paul Garland. You can actually read the first chapter on Ream or Patreon now at any subscription level. I was inspired by reading some of his hotpast stories (Box of Photos, etc.). I’ve always loved the idea of the wife with a naughty past, but Paul kind of carved out the subgenre. We got to talking, and came up with this concept of the Sugar Club.
In addition to that one chapter that was posted over a year ago (I think), I’ve written a second chapter, and we’ve outlined the general plot. Just need to sit down and focus on it some more.
In Too Deep: The Sequel
This will not be the name, but yes, In Too Deep will have a sequel. And it will be a true sequel story, not a continuation of the last. There will be new characters, a new plot, and new developments in the world of Amanda and David. For this one, I know what it’s about, and I’ve actually written the first chunk of it. But I’m not happy with how it’s turned out, so want to go and tweak it.
For this story, it’s a tricky thing to write a sequel about a couple who have crossed a LOT of lines already. The excitement usually comes from the anticipation: will she, won’t she, has she? With Amanda, we know that the answer is yes, and that David is finally cool with it. That can kill some of the tension. So I need to get it back.
More Never Too Late to Play and While We Were Apart
These stories are far from over, and I’m not going to abandon them in 2026. Julianna is just too fun of a character, and Morgan… well, Morgan is Morgan. She’s captured part of my heart, and she still has so many stories to tell from London. Maybe we’ll hear them in 2026.
