February 2026 Update
Well, another month down, and some more twists and turns. In my last update, I proudly announced that I was back on Patreon. Well, seems my return announcement was premature. The team over there decided that I had launched my page without their approval, despite having an email from their team explicitly telling me that I had their approval. No amount of reasoning overturned the decision, so I’m off it for the time being (and maybe forever, because honestly it was a very frustrating experience).
If you’d like to support me beyond buying my books, or are interested in reading stories that haven’t quite made it out to the major publishers, you can still find me on Ream. It’s basically an indie Patreon that’s geared towards authors. I just finished publishing a novella there called Stewarding Sofia, about a sexy flight attendant and her husband.
Okay, but most of you are reading this to find out what’s coming next from me. I’ve got two things that are happening in the immediate term, although I’m still working out the order of publication.
First, the one that I’ve done the most with:
Sugar Club

This one’s my “hotpast” collaboration with Paul Garland. You can read the first chapter now, over on Ream, and I’ve written quite a few more. But since it’s a collaboration, it’s a little slower to get something that we can put out, since we discuss the chapters, some of the details, make tweaks, etc. I wouldn’t want to publish a chapter only to have to retcon or revise some things that you’ve already read.
But what is it about? Jennifer and Bryan Turner live have a happy life, living in an affluent neighborhood outside of New York City. Jennifer does it all: high-paid COO, mom, PTA booster. He’s a freelance journalist. Then, one Saturday morning, she receives an inheritance from a man named Charles Wellington, recently passed, and it changes their world forever.
This one is going to be at least a two book story. We’ve got most of it mapped out but are still working out some of the key details. It’s a fun one to write, though, and it’s always exciting (and challenging) to work with another creative.
While We Were Apart: The Holiday Party

Okay, this one only has a couple lines written, but it may actually be the one that I start posting first, since I basically know the story. It happens between Bachelorettes and The Wedding, at a holiday party for the hospital staff. Yes, even though I’ve written quite a bit of story after this, I do have some gaps that I can fill without breaking continuity. There are some characters I can introduce and/or fill out here to set us up going into the next installment of their story.
Oh, and in case you missed it, I did write one other short story that takes place in this universe, following Tracy (sexy neighbor of Morgan and Nathan in Portland) at her New Years Eve party. That one’s called “End of Year Review” and published exclusively on Ream.
Other stories in the works
I do get questions about the roadmap of other things that I’m working on, and I know that it can be confusing sometimes to know what’s published and what isn’t. So I’ll create a few lists.
Upcoming Books (for publication on Amazon, Smashwords, etc.):
- While We Were Apart 2 (includes Bachelorettes, The Holiday Party, and The Wedding)
- This is contingent on actually writing The Holiday Party
- While We Were Apart 3 (Hotwife)
- Available to read now on Ream
- This would come at least a month after the publication of the previous book
- Stewarding Sofia
- Available to read now on Ream
- I may publish this one soon since it’s been a few months since I’ve put anything new out
Upcoming Works in Progress
- Sugar Club (see above for update)
- Claire.ai
- Quick summary: man creates an AI persona of his wife, Claire, and discovers things about his wife he never knew. Are these AI hallucinations? Or real insights?
- I did start this at the end of last year, and got a few chapters in before swapping to other things. It’s a fun one.
- In Too Deep sequel
- Okay, so as I’ve said in previous updates (that have been lost to the Patreon lockout), I’d actually written quite a bit of this sequel, but ended up not liking the direction. One of the tricky parts about writing the sequel to a hotwife book is to find the tension points. So I scrapped everything and started over, and really like the new direction it took. I got a few chapters in before Paul became free to work on Sugar Club. This one will be epic, but will also take a long time to write.
- Never Too Late to Play
- I haven’t forgotten about this couple, just haven’t had time to focus on them (for all the reasons above).
That about does it for my February update! I hope to get something up starting this week, but I’m not sure I can. We shall see. Maybe I can find something from the archive to satisfy you all.
