I’m currently working on not one, but two, writing collaborations, in addition to a book of my own. It’s not exactly the most tenable, and I’m not exactly sure how I got here, but I love each project and am unwilling to let any of them go, so I will keep struggling through until something is completed.
What I did want to talk about was the nature of collaborations. (This post will be one on the creative process, so if that’s not your bag, feel free to skip it. I’m trying to write more, so hopefully there will be something of more interest next week.) Right now, I’m working with Kirsten McCurran on one project, and Max Sebastian on another, and I have to tell you that the nature of the collaboration are so vastly different—neither better than the other, just…different. I originally wrote the following in the Foreword of my latest book, Following Temptation, but since not everyone reads forewords (or, heaven forbid, you haven’t picked up the book yet), I’m reproducing it here, because I think it’s a pretty cool idea.
…I want to talk about shared universes. For those of you who are comic book fans (or pretenders, like me, who watch the movies and shows and read Wikipedia articles about the actual comics), you know that Marvel has done a great job with this. For those of you who don’t, the gist is that movies (and shows) share characters between them. The Iron Man movie preceded the Captain America movie and the Thor movie, but they all teamed up in the Avengers.
I’ve done a lot of writing with Kirsten McCurran over the years. I admire the characters she creates and the books she writes. She’s a sounding board like no other, and at some point, we decided to start borrowing each other’s characters and burying them like easter eggs in our stories. AJ, from Nothing Forbidden and the Training to Love It books, for example, was also mentioned in Kirsten’s Hot Dates series. It was a fun dip into a shared universe, so we decided to take it further and create a town together. And thus, Kingston was borne. (more…)
It’s been a while, but I’ve finally got a new book out. I really like this one, guys, and if you do too, maybe there will be more of this couple. Leave a comment here or on Amazon (as a review) and we’ll see what’ll happen!
Temptation waits just around the corner. Follow and see where it leads.
Life is good for Michael and Laura Richards, if a little stale. That is, until Michael follows his neighbor, Dane, to the house of the married Jessica, and watches Dane take full advantage of the voluptuous brunette. Michael shouldn’t watch, but he can’t stop himself, and the veneer of his sleepy suburb peels away to reveal its naughtiness.
Michael confesses the adventure to his wife, Laura, and the couple embarks on a journey of sexual awakening, following Dane and Jessica into a world that is as uncomfortable as it is irresistible. But there are layers within layers, and when Laura befriends Jessica and learns that not everything is as straightforward as it seems, just how far is she willing to follow her neighbor? Prepare yourself for a tale of voyeurism, naughty neighbors, sexy wives, and illicit temptation.

I came across this line (and title of this post) in Sean Geist’s latest book, Twin Betrayals, that really encapsulates one of the themes I’ve wanted to write in a book of my own, but can’t wrangle a way to do it: “A treat for herself.” I’m not going to spoil the book (since you should read it!), but I’ll say that Sean captures this weird paradox that sometimes crops up in the wife-watching genre. We want both the wife to be acting naughty with the husband knowing about it (mutual, non-deceptive, healthy), but also, doing it for herself, not for the husband. Light vs. dark. Sharing vs. cheating.
Prepare for a peek behind the curtain and into the wild space of my mind. It’s a little chaotic back here, and I haven’t had a chance to straighten things up in a while, so be prepared. (more…)
Fellow authors Kirsten McCurran, Ben Boswell, Max Sebastian, and Arnica Butler have put out the third installment of hotwife short stories. This time, the theme is “Caught!” and we’ve got some fun stories for you. These tend to flirt with the darker side of the fantasy than the stories that you’re used to from us, and more than the last couple volumes, really demonstrate the differences in our approaches and writing styles.
As with the last two, the compilation will only ever cost $0.99 and will be available on Kindle Unlimited. This is our gift to the reading community. Enjoy at your leisure. If you enjoyed it, the best way to say thank you would be to tell others that you liked it, either directly, or by leaving a review.
I wanted to publish a post weekly, and here I am, barely getting my second blog post up in the first two months of 2017. My apologies. I’ll try and be more diligent, but I promise you it’s not for lack of writing.
One of the newest things I’m working on is a serial that follows a couple, Clarissa and Jackson Williams, as they work through a rough patch in their marriage by playing a game. I haven’t figured out what this game is called yet, but essentially they take turns giving the other a roleplaying scenario, and then act it out (eg. “meet me at a bar and pretend that we’re strangers”). It’ll be released as a series of novellas, with each novella covering one of these scenarios, and hopefully, we’ll see the couple evolve over the course of the whole thing. I’d like to publish each novella pretty close to one another (a month apart or so), and I’ve only written the short-ish prologue chapter, so it’ll be a while before that one will be out.
A book (full-length) that’s much closer to seeing publication is called Following Temptation, and let me tell you, I’m excited about this one. I’d put it down to work on a few side projects, but after finishing the prologue of the serial above, I went back to Following and fell in love with the couple all over again. I mentioned this book back in the January update, but for a refresher, it’s about a couple who discover that their neighbors are having an affair, and how they follow them into, erm, temptation. Or at least into sexy times. I’m working hard to get that out in the next month or so, just in time for….
Best Hotwife Books, Volume 3: Caught! This one should be out in a month, themed around “Caught!” and however the authors—Max Sebastian, Kirsten McCurran, Arnica Butler, Ben Boswell, and myself—interpreted that. I haven’t read all the entries, but the few I have, I can tell you the offerings are pretty diverse.
That’s got me thinking, though. Would other authors be interested if I made a space available (either here or on HotwifeBooks.com) to post your own stories written around these themes for free? I wouldn’t sell these stories, but also couldn’t pay anyone royalties for them. It would be more like a mini-Literotica, although you could post links to your blogs/author pages on Amazon. No promises that I can do this, but I’d like to gauge interest here.
Anyway, that’s it for now. I still have the bull story, as well as another collaboration with Max, although we’ve only started kicking around ideas. If you missed it, Out of His League came out last month, as well as a short on FrolicMe.com (which requires a membership).
I’ll do this in the form of an interview since I’ve received so many questions of the last month asking what my deal is. Go with me on this, it should be fine.
Sure am. Most days, something is being transferred from my perverted brain onto digital paper. I’ve been writing for almost twenty years (that makes me sound so old). Writing erotica is part of who I am, so don’t worry, I’m here until I’m not.
Things are just busy. Holidays, both my young kids have had birthdays recently. In-laws have visited, and some commitments in my day job have all conspired to rob me of creative time.
The second volume of Best Hotwife Erotica is available, exclusively on Amazon, for just 0.99 (or free if you’ve got a Kindle Unlimited account). Five great authors, five sexy Halloween-themed short stories, this deal is scary good (sorry, couldn’t resist).
This time around, a few of us tried an experiment. Three of these stories take place at the same Halloween party, on the same night. It all kicks off with Kirsten’s Blank Canvas short.

My apologies to all my fans. This was supposed to be out today. Still could be, but it’s looking unlikely due to some Amazon bureaucracy that you don’t really care about. Nothing major, just a mischecked box. Blurb is up here: Best Hotwife Erotica 2: Tricks and Treats.
As for other pursuits of the erotic variety, I’ve got a few in the works. One has caught my fancy at the moment, so we shall see where it takes me. Life’s been full, and has been gobbling up all of my free time, but hopefully I’ll be able to reclaim some hours of my day to write.
In the meantime, you’ve got this anthology coming up! Stay tuned.
Edit: It is now available!
Let me set the record straight: I don’t pay for fake reviews. I’m not even sure how to go about doing that, although I’m aware of the practice. I also try to stay above the fray and not respond to trolls, but this particular claim, which has popped up a couple times on my latest book, is troubling enough that I can’t stay silent. (more…)
