This week, I’m being featured on So The Story Goes, a blog that has carved out a niche by showcasing independent writers from around the world. They’ve kicked the week off with an incredibly flattering review of Just Watch Me. Check out an excerpt:
Maybe it was the Hawaiian sun, or perhaps it was the non-stop steam, but this story was hot from the very first page right up until the last word. And there was something beyond the heat that had us hooked; intertwined beautifully within the scenes of passion is a story of love, acceptance and connection that we hadn’t expected. [Full review…]
Follow that link and you’ll also find a coupon to download Rediscovering Danielle for free over at Smashwords. Offer lasts through the week, so don’t wait.
Oh, and on Friday, So The Story Goes will be interviewing me. I’ll update this post when it’s live. [Read the interview here.]
Want to help support more indie authors (::nods::)? All you have to do is follow them on Twitter:
@IndieLitGems. They’re good people. Happy Monday!
It’s been a busy month. In addition to putting the final touches on Just Watch Me and shipping it out the door last week, I’ve had the opportunity to put together the covers of new books from three fantastic authors.
Max Sebastian’s Submitting to Her is a great introduction to femdom (it had me hooked, and that’s definitely not a core fantasy of mine). Lucy V. Morgan’s Twisted Summer serves up summer love with a side of pseudo-incest in this new adult romance. And Kirsten McCurran delivers a hot one, as always, in Devil’s Bargain, a set-up so good I’m seriously considering stealing.
Read the full book descriptions after the break.
This will be my first novel length book (I consider All In, Leap, and While She Watches novellas, if we must categorize). It picks up a year after the events of the short Rediscovering Danielle, but I want to stress that I don’t consider it a sequel. You do not need to read the short story to understand what’s going on in the novel.
I owe thanks to a lot of people for helping this book become a reality (my wife; my editor, Lucy V. Morgan; my beta readers and friends), but at the top of that list has been the sheer support of my readers. I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t have written this book without your requests (I have a particular bias towards sequels).
But I’m glad that I did write it. In my opinion, it’s the finest piece of writing I’ve produced to date (and perhaps the hottest). Hope those who requested–and anyone else who picks it up–agrees.
Some more Just Watch Me goodness. I’ve got the book page up here. There’s a description and, more importantly, an excerpt (just hit the excerpt tab). It’s pulled from the very beginning, but should give everyone who’s looking an idea for what this one’s all about.
And for your convenience, both description and excerpt have been reproduced after the break.
I’ve always enjoyed stories about erotic games–strip poker, an adult version of truth-or-dare, spin-the-bottle turned naughty, etc. More interestingly, based on the sales figures of All In: Strip Poker Done Right, I’m not alone. What’s not to like? It’s a great device for cutting through inhibitions and letting a group of “normal” people act crazy.
